About Us
These terms govern your use of the Elevate Finishes website and the services we provide. Elevate Finishes Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17196334). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
02
Our Services
We provide professional painting and decorating services across 10 major UK cities. Our online quote tool generates an estimate only — it is not a binding contract. A binding contract is formed only when a confirmed quote has been agreed, a customer service agreement has been signed by both parties, and a deposit has been received.
03
Quotes and Pricing
- Online estimates are indicative only and subject to change following site assessment or receipt of a completed measurement form.
- Confirmed quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
- Prices are based on the information provided by the customer. Any inaccuracies may result in a revised quote.
- A £60 site visit fee applies where an in-person assessment is required. This is a separate charge and is not included in or deducted from your quoted job price.
- Decorative techniques including colour blocking, limewash, ombre, striping, and two-tone finishes are excluded from standard pricing and require a separate site visit quotation.
04
Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted value is required to confirm and secure a booking.
- The remaining 50% is due upon completion. This may be paid in full, or split into three equal monthly instalments by prior written agreement with Elevate Finishes before the job commences.
- Payment is accepted by bank transfer to the details provided on your invoice.
- Elevate Finishes reserves the right to pause or cease works if payment obligations are not met.
05
Cancellation
- More than 7 days before start date: deposit retained, no further charge.
- 3–7 days before start date: deposit retained plus 25% of the remaining balance.
- Less than 3 days or same day: deposit retained plus 50% of the remaining balance.
- Elevate Finishes Ltd may cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case the full deposit will be refunded within 5 working days.
06
Materials and Colours
- All materials are supplied by Elevate Finishes Ltd and included within the agreed quote, with a 10–15% buffer for wastage.
- Paint colour selection is entirely the customer's responsibility.
- Any AI colour advice provided via our quote tool does not constitute professional colour consultancy.
- If materials run out during a job, work will stop, the situation will be photographed, and the customer will be notified before any further action is taken.
07
Quality and Complaints
- Genuine defects — defined as missed areas, visible runs or drips, uneven coverage, paint on surfaces outside the agreed scope, or damage caused during works — must be reported in writing within 48 hours of job completion.
- Dissatisfaction with colour choice, sheen level, or finish preference does not constitute a defect.
- Elevate Finishes Ltd will attend to genuine defects at no additional charge.
- Complaints raised after 48 hours, or where the customer has made alterations to the finished work, are not eligible for remedial works under these terms.
08
Liability
- Elevate Finishes Ltd holds public liability insurance of £2,000,000 covering works carried out under our service agreements.
- We accept no liability for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or surface imperfections present prior to works commencing.
- The customer is responsible for removing or protecting valuables, furniture, and personal items from the work area before the start date.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant service agreement.
09
Website Use
- The Elevate Finishes Ltd website and its content are provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the information on this site.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
- Unauthorised use of this website or its content may give rise to a claim for damages.
10
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing court proceedings. Either party may initiate mediation by written notice. Both parties must make a genuine effort to agree on a mediator within 14 days of that notice. If mediation fails or a mediator cannot be agreed, either party may proceed to court.
11
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12

We may update these terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
