About Us
Elevate Finishes is a UK-wide painting and decorating business. We dispatch vetted, quality-checked painters to residential and commercial properties. Every job is managed from first enquiry to final inspection.
What We Do
Painting built around your exact vision
Interior, exterior, commercial and landlord painting: four services, one standard. Every project gets the same preparation, the same premium materials, and the same finish regardless of whether it's a single room or a full portfolio. Managed from first call to final walkthrough.
01
Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings and woodwork finished to an immaculate standard. We source from Farrow & Ball, Dulux Trade, and Little Greene. You specify, we supply. Full preparation included, site left spotless daily.
Void-period repaints, HMOs and managed portfolios. Fast turnaround between tenancies, neutral finishes that photograph well and last. One call covers multiple properties.
Three grades, supplied by us and costed line by line in your quote.
Good quality
Dulux Trade · Crown
Dependable trade emulsions and satinwood. The sensible default for rentals and refreshes.
Longer lasting
Little Greene
Higher pigment load and a tougher finish. Made for rooms that work hard.
Best available
Farrow & Ball
Depth of colour nothing else matches. Specified by name, applied by hand.
Case Studies
Two jobs, start to finish.
Every project runs the same way: full preparation, two coats, photo-verified completion and a walkthrough before the balance. These two show what that looks like in practice, one in a family home and one on a live commercial site.
Use our quote tool to enter your rooms, sizes and condition. You’ll get a realistic price range in under two minutes, with no sign-up and no obligation.
Usually same day
We get back to you
Send an enquiry and we’ll call or message within 48 hours. We then collect exact measurements with a simple form, or for larger and more complex jobs we arrange a £60 site visit (charged separately from your job price) so we can assess everything in person.
Start date confirmed
50% deposit, work begins
A 50% deposit locks in your start date. Your painter arrives on time, works to the finish standard in your written quote, and keeps the site tidy throughout. One point of contact from start to finish.
Pay after job is done
Final payment & completion
Once the work is photographed, inspected and you’ve done your own walkthrough, you make your second payment. Any genuine defects reported within 7 days are fixed at no extra cost.
Our Work
Finished to a standardevery time.
01Plate 01 · Joinery & Fitted Furniture · Windsor
We paint joinery. Most decorators don't.
Eggshell on MDF and solid wood joinery requires preparation most painters skip. Every panel sanded, primed, and finished in two coats. No brush marks, no lap lines, consistent colour panel to panel.
✓Sanded & primed
✓Eggshell finish
✓No brush marks
✓Two-coat system
✓Panel-matched colour
02Plate 02 · The Way We Work · Bristol
Prep is half the job.
Dust sheets down, surfaces masked, access equipment set before a brush goes near the wall. Every Elevate painter works the same way, because the setup determines the finish.

✓Surfaces masked
✓Same setup, every job
✓Access equipment set
✓Site cleared daily
03Plate 03 · The Finish · Feltham
The finish speaks for itself.
Dark wall, white skirting. Where they meet is where skill shows. A clean paint edge, cut by hand without tape, is the difference between a paint job and a painted room.
✓Hand-cut edge
✓No tape used
✓Dark wall · white skirting
✓Two coats applied
✓Zero overspray
04Plate 04 · Residential Interior · Surrey
A room transformed.
New colour, same life. We work around you. Furniture is moved and returned, with no disruption to your day. You come home to a finished room, not a half-finished one.

04
The Work
Your vetted, insured painter arrives on schedule. Full preparation, furniture protected, and the site left tidy at the end of every day.
05
Sign-Off & Guarantee
The finished work is photographed and inspected, then you do your own walkthrough. Only then do you pay the balance. Any genuine defect reported within 7 days is fixed free.
Coverage
We operate all over the UK.
From London to Manchester, Bristol to Birmingham: one agency, one standard, wherever your project is.
Our Painters
Every painter we place meets the same bar.
We don't send decorators. We place qualified tradespeople who are vetted, insured, and assessed before they set foot on a job. This is the standard every Elevate painter holds.
NVQ Level 2 & 3 Qualified
All painters hold a nationally recognised vocational qualification in Painting & Decorating. Not self-taught. Properly trained.
City & Guilds / NVQ
CSCS Card Holders
Every painter carries a valid CSCS card, a mandatory requirement on commercial sites and a baseline signal of competence across the trade.
Construction Skills
£2M Public Liability
All painters operate with a minimum of £2 million public liability insurance. Every job, residential or commercial, is fully covered.
Fully Insured
Vetted & Referenced
Every painter is trade-referenced before joining the Elevate network. We check their work history, not just their paperwork.
Pre-screened
DBS Checked
Painters placed in residential properties and domestic settings are DBS checked. You know exactly who is in your home.
Enhanced Check
Ongoing Quality Assessment
Painters are assessed on every job through client feedback and site reviews. Standards don't slip. Painters who don't meet them don't stay on the network.
Continuously reviewed

01
About Us
These terms govern your use of the Elevate Finishes website and the services we provide. Elevate Finishes Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17196334). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
02
Our Services
We provide professional painting and decorating services across towns and cities in England and Wales with populations over 50,000. Our online quote tool generates an estimate only; it is not a binding contract. A binding contract is formed only when a confirmed quote has been agreed, a customer service agreement has been signed by both parties, and a deposit has been received.
03
Quotes and Pricing
Online estimates are indicative only and subject to change following site assessment or receipt of a completed measurement form.
Confirmed quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
Prices are based on the information provided by the customer. Any inaccuracies may result in a revised quote.
A £60 site visit fee applies where an in-person assessment is required. This fee is refunded in full upon booking confirmation. If you choose not to proceed, the fee is retained to cover the cost of the visit.
Decorative techniques including colour blocking, limewash, ombre, striping, and two-tone finishes are excluded from standard pricing and require a separate site visit quotation.
04
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted value is required to confirm and secure a booking.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion. This may be paid in full, or split into three equal monthly instalments by prior written agreement with Elevate Finishes before the job commences.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer to the details provided on your invoice.
Elevate Finishes reserves the right to pause or cease works if payment obligations are not met.
05
Cancellation
More than 7 days before start date: deposit retained, no further charge.
3–7 days before start date: deposit retained plus 25% of the remaining balance.
Less than 3 days or same day: deposit retained plus 50% of the remaining balance.
Elevate Finishes Ltd may cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case the full deposit will be refunded within 5 working days.
06
Materials and Colours
All materials are supplied by Elevate Finishes Ltd and included within the agreed quote, with a 10–15% buffer for wastage.
Paint colour selection is entirely the customer's responsibility.
Any AI colour advice provided via our quote tool does not constitute professional colour consultancy.
If materials run out during a job, work will stop, the situation will be photographed, and the customer will be notified before any further action is taken.
07
Quality and Complaints
Genuine defects (defined as missed areas, visible runs or drips, uneven coverage, paint on surfaces outside the agreed scope, or damage caused during works) must be reported in writing within 7 days of job completion.
Dissatisfaction with colour choice, sheen level, or finish preference does not constitute a defect.
Elevate Finishes Ltd will attend to genuine defects at no additional charge.
Complaints raised after 7 days, or where the customer has made alterations to the finished work, are not eligible for remedial works under these terms.
08
Liability
Elevate Finishes Ltd holds public liability insurance of £2,000,000 covering works carried out under our service agreements.
We accept no liability for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or surface imperfections present prior to works commencing.
The customer is responsible for removing or protecting valuables, furniture, and personal items from the work area before the start date.
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant service agreement.
09
Website Use
The Elevate Finishes Ltd website and its content are provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the information on this site.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

10
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing court proceedings. Either party may initiate mediation by written notice. Both parties must make a genuine effort to agree on a mediator within 14 days of that notice. If mediation fails or a mediator cannot be agreed, either party may proceed to court.
11
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our service, pricing and process.
Pricing & Quotes
Enter your postcode to confirm we cover your area, then add your rooms one by one, including wall sizes, ceiling height, and the surfaces you want painted. Our tool calculates an instant estimate based on your location, room condition, and surfaces selected. It takes around 2–3 minutes with no sign-up required. After receiving your estimate you can submit an enquiry and we will follow up with a confirmed quote within 48 hours.
The online estimate is a close guide based on the information you provide, but it is not a binding quote. After you submit your enquiry, we may send a detailed measurement form or arrange a site visit to confirm the final price. The confirmed quote is what you will be invoiced for.
Labour rates vary across the UK, and within each city, costs are higher closer to the city centre due to demand, access, and overhead. Our tool applies a location multiplier based on your postcode. The closer you are to a city centre, the higher the labour rate applied. Outer areas within our coverage zones receive the standard rate.
For larger or more complex jobs where an in-person assessment is needed to produce an accurate quote, we charge a £60 site visit fee. This fee is refunded in full when you confirm your booking. If you choose not to proceed, the fee is retained to cover the cost of the visit.
Decorative techniques including colour blocking, limewash, ombre, striping, and two-tone finishes are excluded from our standard online quote tool. These require a site visit to assess properly. Submit an enquiry via our contact form and we will arrange a visit to discuss your requirements and provide a separate quote.
Booking & Payment
Once you are happy with your confirmed quote, a 50% deposit is required to secure your start date. You will receive a customer service agreement to sign digitally before the job begins. The remaining 50% balance is due on completion of the works, before the decorator leaves the property.
We currently accept payment by bank transfer to the details provided on your invoice. Payment details are included with your confirmed quote and again on your final invoice.
Yes, but cancellation charges apply depending on how much notice you give. More than 7 days before the start date: deposit retained, no further charge. Between 3 and 7 days: deposit retained plus 25% of the remaining balance. Less than 3 days or same day: deposit retained plus 50% of the remaining balance. Full details are set out in your customer service agreement.
We aim to confirm a start date within 48 hours of receiving your deposit. Availability varies by location and time of year, but in most cases we can begin within 1–2 weeks of booking. We will always confirm your start date before processing your deposit.
The Works
All works are carried out by vetted, self-employed painting and decorating professionals. Every contractor we work with is required to hold valid public liability insurance, maintain CIS registration with HMRC, and meet our quality standards before being assigned any job.
Yes. All materials are included in your quote and purchased on your behalf. We include a 10–15% buffer to account for coverage variation. Paint colour selection is your responsibility. Our AI colour advisor provides guidance only and does not constitute professional colour consultancy advice.
In the rare event that paint runs out during a job, our contractor is required to stop work immediately, photograph the situation clearly, and contact us before taking any further action. They will not leave the property without notifying both Elevate Finishes and the customer. We will then arrange the next steps with you directly.
Yes. Our quote tool supports commercial spaces including offices, retail units, and communal areas. For large or complex commercial projects, submit an enquiry via the contact form so we can discuss your requirements and arrange a site visit if needed.
Yes. You are responsible for removing or protecting valuables, furniture, and personal items from the work area before the start date. Our decorators will protect floors and fixtures as part of their standard process, but clearing the space in advance helps the job run faster and reduces risk to your belongings.
Quality & Complaints
Genuine defects (defined as missed areas, visible runs or drips, uneven coverage, paint on surfaces not in the agreed scope, or damage caused during works) must be reported in writing within 7 days of job completion. We will attend to any genuine defect within 5 working days at no additional charge. Dissatisfaction with colour choice, sheen level, or finish preference does not constitute a defect under our service agreement.
Our contractors are paid on a tiered system based on quality and timeliness. If work falls below standard, a portion of the contractor's payment is withheld and passed directly to you as compensation. We do not retain it. This means our contractors have a direct financial incentive to deliver high-quality work on every job.
Yes. Elevate Finishes holds public liability insurance covering all works carried out under our service agreements. Every contractor we engage is also required to hold their own valid public liability insurance with a minimum of £2,000,000 cover before starting any job with us.
Coverage
Those platforms are directories that match you with 3 to 6 competing tradespeople and you referee the quotes yourself. Elevate Finishes is a managed service: one accountable company that vets the painter, quality-checks the work with photo verification, holds your balance until after your walkthrough, and fixes any defect free within 7 days. You deal with one company from first enquiry to final inspection, not a bidding war.
We cover every town and city in England and Wales with a population over 50,000, through our network of regional hubs. Enter your postcode in our quote tool to confirm coverage and see pricing for your exact location.
If your postcode falls outside our current coverage zones, submit an enquiry via the contact form with your location. We are actively expanding and may be able to accommodate your area sooner than you expect, or add it to our waitlist for upcoming coverage.
Not currently. We cover England and Wales only. Enter your postcode in the quote tool to confirm coverage for your exact location.

Elevate Finishes
Case Study 01 · Residential Interior · London
A deep navy living room, cut by hand.
LocationLondon
Duration3 days on site
CoatsTwo, hand-cut edges
Sign-offPhoto-verified walkthrough
The brief
A well-used family living room, ready for a deep colour. The owners wanted a dramatic navy without losing the crisp white woodwork, and they wanted it done properly rather than quickly.
The approach
Full preparation first: walls filled and sanded, furniture moved and protected, floors sheeted. Two full coats throughout, with the first sealed and dried before the second. Every edge where navy meets white was cut freehand, with no tape, for a cleaner line.
Condition on arrivalThe edge, up close
The result
Consistent depth of colour across every wall, clean lines at the skirting and frames, and no touch-ups needed after the fact. The work was photographed, inspected, and signed off at the owners’ walkthrough before the balance was paid. As with every job, anything reported within 7 days would have been fixed free.
A full exterior refresh for the Flaming Grill: fascias, render and woodwork, panel-matched colour throughout. The one condition that mattered most: the pub could not close, and customers could not be disturbed.
The approach
Work was scheduled around trading hours, with access equipment set and cleared each session and the site left clean before every service. Every surface was inspected for cracking, damp or failing paint before pricing, and coats were applied in dry conditions only, working to the weather rather than against it.
Condition on arrivalWorking around trading hours
The result
Two full coats, consistent colour panel to panel, no brush marks and no lap lines. The Flaming Grill stayed open for every scheduled service throughout the job, because disruption to business is disruption we plan around.
